Producer Inza Bamba's cultural and musical influences can be attributed to the years he spent as a child on the Ivory Coast, and to his many influential relatives stationed all over the world. His earliest musical experience began by viewing pictures of his father playing percussion while serving for the Army on a French military base. As the lead singer of various bands in Ithaca NY (Les Chatiments & Soul Nidus to name a few), Inza performed all over the United States, supporting major acts such as The Wailers, Burning Spear, Yellowman, HR (of the Bad Brains), Mystic Revealers, The Itals, The Skatalites, The Toasters, The Tribulations, and Toots and the Maytals.
After moving to New York City in the late 90's, Inza began to develop his composition and recording skills working at some of New York City's top music production studios, including JSM and Crushing Music. He has written, produced and sang on many national television commercials for companies such as Dr Pepper, HBO, Unicef, VH1 and has been featured on the BET website in an article about multi-faceted songwriters in America.
Aside from his work in television, he has also had an enormous effect as a writer and producer for many artists on their album productions in a variety of styles. He has produced tracks for Sony/Supersonix in Germany(hip-hop), singer-songwriter Emily Curtis (pop) and rappers Novocain & Hilight (hip-hop) and is currently producing an entire full-length album for latin-soul singer Omar Alexander. He is also currently collaborating with 2005 Grammy Award Nominee Lea-Lorien on her upcoming album. Inza's highly anticipated lounge album entitled "innerActions" will be released in 2005 and contains tracks from many major artists including Chris Palmero (Verve). Currently Inza is co-producing and co-writing with Lea-Lorien on a track for Jennifer Lopez's upcoming album.
